I see some people saying that it would be good for young men to be able to have sex without the worry of pregnancy, yet if the woman still got pregnant (through cheating) would the young man be able to ask for paternity test since he is supposed to be temporarily sterile... This is a version of a policy that I believe should be implemented worldwide. I'm in the US, so:

We should put the country's best medical and research minds on the task of developing a very reliable and VERY REVERSIBLE vasectomy or male sterilization method. Some kind of implantable valve on the vas deferens or similar. This would be done to MEN, because the shit storm that would ensue if it were done to women would be immeasurable.
ALL boys would have this procedure done at or near birth. No exceptions. Government would pay to do the procedure, it would be FREE to all males.
Boys grow up, begin to date, begin to have sex. Have girlfriends, plates, and men and women enjoy their sexuality with no worry of unintended children, no pregnancy traps by women, no abortions necessary, no "oopsies", no need for "my body, my choice", no single mothers draining society.
If/when a couple marry and if THEY TOGETHER decide to have children, the man will undergo the procedure to reverse the sterilization done at birth. THE REVERSAL PROCEDURE IS NOT FREE. In fact, it is rather expensive. This procedure is NOT to be covered by medical insurance of any sort, and must be paid in cash -- no loans, no credit accepted, and the couple must be married, to help ensure that the child is raised in a proper 2 parent environment.

The thinking behind this is that a couple must be of a certain financial means to properly support a child, and have the resources and take the time and have the discipline to save the money to undergo the reversal procedure. This will help ensure that couples REALLY WANT to have a child, and that it is a conscious choice to have a baby and start a family.

I know this will never be done, and that the above isn't a perfect plan and that there are likely lots of ways to hack it, but a LOT of guys would really enjoy a youth of sex without the worry of pregnancy or being trapped by pregnancy fraud (in the form of "my body, my choice" or a child being put upon them that isn't theirs or by "pulling the goalie" of birth control unbeknownst to the male).
