I listened to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata this morning. It's one of my favorite classical songs. I asked my youngest daughter(17), who has played the piano since she was 5, to play it for me the other day. She told me it was too complex for her. My 9 year old grandson walked in and told me that he'd play it for me. I think that kid has talent. He played it from memory. I may be biased, but it was one of the best renditions I've ever heard. My daughter got showed up by a boy with 1/4 her experience. She spent the rest of the night in her room and wouldn't talk to either of us.
