Competition leads to hierarchy which leads to accumulation of resources. This makes the Male attractive to women (hypergamy).

The 20/80 rule still applies, if a man has enough resources to share with many women he will, thus creating harems.

Historically, for every man that reproduced 17 women reproduced.

Men are hypergamous.

The problem is that people won't admit that women are.

Women are more hypergamous than men, because they are genetic selectors.

Men are less hypergamous because "meh, good enough" is enough.

Women are supposed to breed with the best genetic male, and find that, or other males, to support their offspring, ie, alpha fucks and beta buxx.

Men are far less hypergamous, because why don't give that much of a shit, they'll take the best they can get, sort of.

Women are far more hypergamous, but it is societally hidden.

Men are programmed to go for the best within their pool (I call it settling for less), women however are conditioned towards FOMO, which just amplifies their selection criteria thus driving them towards always looking for the next big thing.

"She's never yours, it's just your turn."

When males start to see the possibilities beyond said programming, be it genetic and/or societal, the individual will start losing "purpose", thus warranting an internal alignment to set new goals, milestones, and life objectives.

"There will always be fresh fish in the sea."

The more a man stops chasing unnecessary objectives and starts investing in self progression, the more the purpose of other human beings starts coming into question. Within the context of this discussion, what purpose do females serve ? Procreation, sexual gratification and social status for blending into a BP environment are the only unique benefits.

There's actually no need for commitment of any kind, assuming one can structure their life as such.
