Jim Rohn once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” While this is a great lesson to apply to your real-life friends, one place I am surprised this has a clear connection to is Twitter. Social media is something the vast majority of us look at multiple times a day. We mindlessly scroll through timelines and feeds of what other people are thinking or doing, which most of the time offers us little to no benefit. Usually, we end up comparing our lives to others we know leading us to feeling negatively about ourselves (Study). After doing some digging, I decided to utilize social media to self-improve. I believe that besides having the ability to build social proof, Facebook and Instagram are each a lost cause for improving. However, Twitter can be a self-improvement gold mine if used effectively. Back before I started on my mission to create the best version of me possible, I used Twitter to follow buddies, famous people, sports and entertainment. That was an enormous waste of time and energy. That all changed when a friend recommended I follow @AJA_Cortes and @IllimitableMan. I then realized that I could surround myself with like minded people, and tap into their minds without knowing them in real life. Now my feed is transformed and I can soak in Red Pill philosophy all while scrolling through an app. I invite all of you to follow these guys and purge your followings from entertainment and witness how your life changes. They’re great for improving your masculinity, health, fitness, style, and habits. Here are some accounts I strongly recommend taking a look at.
