Biologically, women make themselves look good to get the attention of man (a provider) for their offspring. When we have to "chase", doesn't that mean we're not good enough to begin with, so there's no use in chasing without changing oneself?

When we acquire enough success and a healthy lifestyle, wouldn't women (if they're smart) see that and come into our lives naturally without having for us to chase? Of course, along the way, we take relationship opportunities as they come, but having to spend extra effort outside of our mission which may or may not work out seems pointless. Or is that a false presumption?

Prime example is when I was in college freshmen year. I attended a dance club. On the first day, there was a guy who followed the choreographer really well and danced like a pro. He also had the blessed facial features of a K-pop singer. After the session, an equally cute girl who was dancing behind him walked up to him and asked whether he had experience dancing before. They chatted for awhile before she proceeded to offer exchanging numbers. I thought to myself, "wow, so that is what it's like to be desired. Girls open the doors for you (metaphorically) and you literally just have to walk through them." And damn, they did make a cute couple, racking up plenty of likes on facebook.

Flash forward 3 years, what happened to him as a freshman still has never happened to me :C

Wrong metality or maybe I still haven't acquired enough success to outweigh my flaws?
