The reason I think this is relevant to TRP is that I see a lot of guys who are Gym Rats (myself included previously) who began to become more or less enamored with themselves as specimens.

This is not advantageous.

You want your gains/workout/consistency to simply appear to be a chess move on a board, something you wanted and then achieved. Not something you actively struggle with and fantasize about improving (whether this is or is not the case, is irrelevant to your plight).

Girls hate guys who "are obsessed with themselves" (their words) regarding the gym, and it makes sense. Guys who spend an insane amount of time at the gym/ into the "industry"... appear to be pre-occupied, which indicates stress, which indicates weakness. Yes they are strong, but it brings up a question of at what cost.

The most Alpha version of a fit man would be one who works-out, remains insanely in shape without much thought into it, He goes and benches 325 for 10 and crushes sprints like a girl does laundry. Not one who has to hype himself up about it and watch videos to catch motivation.

Your girl should know you work out and it should be apparent it your looks, your strength, socially among other dudes. But it should not be a obviously large component in your life
