I told my dad about MGTOW a few weeks ago. Hesitant to ask if he looked it up yet and what he thinks. I think it's because I'll probably look down on him if he HAS looked it up and has ANYTHING negative to say about it.

He's been divorce raped twice. He is single now. His house is paid off. He has a great job and a nice Saab too. He also has a photography business where he meets LOADS of single (physically) women who know he's together.

He has however been dating a woman long term for a couple of years. She doesn't live with him...yet. They're not married...yet. He's an assistant pastor and struggles with whether or not he'll take the marriage risk again or remain a lesser minister in the eyes of the "faithful."

He is slightly bitter toward women and society's treatment of men. I think he always has been. I remember when I was a kid he would mentioned that it annoyed him when athletes would thank their moms and not their dads.

The major benefit that I think he'd gain from MGTOW culture is recognizing the universality of female nature. He might realize that AWALT and feel more firm on staying in a "maroonish" pill scenario with his current girlfriend.

I'd hate to see the guy go through it again, but hearing about the GYOW commitment from your son has a different effect than reading it from anonymous men worldwide.

I hope he gets it.
