I am 39 and have been MGTOW long before I knew what it was.

I bought a small house in my 20s and live in a rural area. Like it but kinda resent the 50 min each way commute (sometimes doubled if it snows). Sometimes I think about moving to a small studio apt in a big city with more job and social opportunities. Am I missing out on something by not living in the city?

I have no social life outside of work and family. The old friends I had in college have either married or moved and we lost contact. Maybe best to forget about friends and just focus on career and money at this stage in the game?

I kinda see why guys give in to the wife and marriage thing because that ensures they continue having some type of a social life (at least as long as that relationship lasts)

I seem to be on the path to being a caretaker for the narcissists in my family.

It seems like I get a lot more negative than positive energy from most of the people I interact with these days (unless I am on vacation, at a sporting event, concert, etc). Is this normal at this stage in the game or did I screw up somewhere?
