“Depression” is not just a mental disorder. People around me always use that as a cop out to make excuses. If you’re depressed, it’s probably because your life sucks! Get out there and do some shit, get a job, pull some money, get in shape, move somewhere else, make your bed, jerk off, ANYTHING. Anything other than blame your “mental disorder” for the rest of your life and sit on you ass.

Obviously some people are slightly more prone to depression but it still depends infinitely more on your actual life situation. And shit, if you need to take anti-depressants to get off your ass then do it. Wherever it takes to get your life together, live happy, and be free. GYOW

Depression is a habit caused by incorrect thinking just like any other habit. The subconscious gradually wires the brain to brain up those emotions after enough time passes. Sometimes if a single event is traumatic enough it can also trigger it.. kind of like a nuclear bomb is more powerful than a slow burning fire...

Nutrition has always been a point of contention and reservation for me. Scientific studies are continually conflicting. One points to a carnivorous diet and the other a complete plant based veganism. Both show great gains in health. Im in a crossroad unfortunately. Being to conscientious can have a downside.
