I always liked spider-man. The snappy dialogue. Flash definitely kicks ass though.

yeah but what pisses me off is they always make flash to be this vulnerable chump. like in one cartoon, he slips on ice, but the motherfucker can run on water

another one poison ivy captured him with some SLOW growing vines, never mind the fact that he could vibrate through them

in the tv series killer frost kissed him and froze him. what the fuck, she was sitting on him, he could have vibrated off her, and his vibrating power can cause enough friction heat to counter-act her cold power

not to mention that he acts like a simp over the wanna-be whore iris (her dialogue: oliver queen is in my 3 category. one of the 3 men i would cheat on my fiance' with)

Good work. My workout is more simple and based on the stuff from aworkoutroutine.com ...

workout 1: pull ups (weighted)---------- dumbbell bench press------------ trap bar deadlifts (deadlift variation)

workout 2: dumbbell Shoulder press---------- dumbbell one arm Rows--------- trap bar deadlift (squat variation)

I've also started doing farmer's walks in the yard. I also do cardio.. jogging 4 miles (throwing in a few sprint intervals and 1/2 to 1 mile I'm just walking) and/or biking 25 miles on days I eat more. I've ditched deadlifts and squats and use the trap bar exclusively for now. Once I get further in beyond the "beginner" stage I might incorporate them back in, but the trap bar does eliminate the need for a power rack.

This is all from a home gym.

Supplements... whey protein with 2.5 grams of leucine added. Creatine also added once or twice a day.

The information I have suggests you don't need to do isolation exercises or to mix it up a ton to "confuse" your muscles, you merely need to focus on progressive overload and logging your results so you can try for one extra rep next workout, gradually increasing weight over time.

Keep going, brother. Soon you will feel physically bad when you don't go. I'm addicted to the dopamine rush I get when I push myself. I'm heading back to the gym soon. I did 3 miles cardio this morning. Today is push day. Tomorrow is pull day. Monday is leg day. Tuesday is rest and recover day. Then repeat.

I used to love Flash as a kid, but as I got older he started really frustrating me. Like every situation he gets into could easily be solved by his physics-breaking power-set, and yet you still get instances in which he gets his ass handed to him by people who shouldn't even be able to react to his presence.

It's like writers are constantly struggling to keep him from solving everyone's problems in the blink of an eye.

I mean, he's so powerful that he basically restarted the universe on a whim (Flashpoint Paradox). The fact that people like Deathstroke are able to put up a fight against him is super bizarre.

Still though, he's a lot of fun. Personally, I prefer heroes like Static who have powers that allow for a lot of creativity and versatility. Plus, since I'm a physics major, controlling electromagnetism is like the coolest fucking thing ever.
