Me and my wife have been married for 13 years but I still can't seem to get over her. I don't know why but im smitten. Everytime she dresses up before me I cant control myself. I'm always head over heels for her.
My wife and my friends think it's weird after being married for so long. But I honestly dont understand whats going on. Is it really that weird?
Edit: Seems like I ain't alone. Ty guys. I was just embarrassed I guess.

How fucking sad that his wife thinks it's weird. That should be one of the peaks of marriage, of a bond, to still be smitten after 13 years. She should be oozing with gratitude, but of course she probably finds him pathetic and has lost interest in him because he lacks dat toxic masculinity (while if he ignored her she would be wet 24/7 while telling him how horrible he was).
Dude is definitely a simp, no doubt she's dressing up for Jamal while he waits for his Switch to fully charge.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. I guess I am growing up slowly. I wish I could be 20 right now. Sadly I will only get my voter card next week, if that means something about being adult.

He's probably got the best marriage a man these days could wish for!

No. He's being the best man in the marriage.
It's the best marriage a woman could wish for.
Who knows it's the best marriage. Probably his wife doesn't feel the same.

I often tell people that men and women love differently. Men like being in love, and women like falling in love. Those are two separate things. There's a reason a man may have one shirt, and one pair of sweatpants, from his college days and he refuses to get rid of them and wears them often. He loves it. It's not unusual for a woman to have 20 pairs of shoes, 14 or 15 purses, in a closet full of clothes she never wears. She simply loves falling in love. And soon forgets. I believe that if parties are honest on both sides, especially on the female side, we would realize this is why long-term marriage is rarely succeed. It's easier for a man to stay in love with one woman, than it is for one woman to keep falling in love with the same man. Hence the hypergamy.
