Hello everyone! I got sent here to see if any non-feminist guys have any advice about my weird situation.

Dad grew up very poor, worked his butt off to go to a top school, got a high-paying actuarial job and then became a statistician. Mom was a suburban 60s-70s liberal feminist flower child who got into the same school and then majored in liberal arts, so couldn't get a job after graduation. She took on debt for graduate school, and has been working a government job ever since.

Mom (who is overweight, if not obese) got sick of Dad, and filed for divorce. I don't know the whole story. Dad became depressed and moved to a studio apartment, while Mom immediately started to date a military alpha man before they finished the divorce. A few years later, Dad died of an illness because there was no one to take care of him, while Mom remarried to the military guy, and goes into a lot of debt to buy a vacation home.

I apparently don't take this very well as a child, and start acting out in school (granted, I was being bullied) so Mom and the school administrators put me on mental disorder drugs. Military stepfather quits his job and treats us with strict discipline and lots of chores and has angry outbursts when some minor detail isn't exactly perfect. I really don't take this well, and we have lots of arguments over the years.

I work hard in school, get a good but not perfect GPA, and go to a top college. I fall in love with an older international student, who has to leave a year before I can graduate. I get sick during my last semester, and don't finish. So after getting discharged from the hospital I get home to find that Mom & stepfather want me to pay rent.

So at this point: the love of my life is overseas, I have a few thousand dollars in student loan debt and no degree, a bill to the hospital that needs to be paid, no money, parents that want me to pay rent and are belligerent, and no job prospects because the baby boomers couldn't do basic arithmetic on adjustable rate mortgages.

Does TRP have any suggestions? besides the obvious - get a menial wage job and start paying people back. Minimum wage is $1,300 a month, so after 25% goes to taxes I'm looking at $975 a month, which is just enough to pay $650 food and rent and gas and $325 in debt payments, which means my total debts will be paid off in a year and a half, at which point I would be free to MGTOW and drop out of this screwed up society.
