I love going places with live music and sitting at the bar. You can eat and drink there and usually meet some cool people. If sushi is your thing, sitting at the sushi bar is always a good time (don't forget to tip the guys making your food) and there's typically good atmosphere and fun people to hang with. Don't think of anyone around you as men or women just people you happen to share space with for a bit. Be outgoing or at least receptive, if you overhear a conversation you can contribute to it's usually fine to jump in with a "excuse me but..." and you can make some good friends like this. Even if you don't become a social butterfly immediately give it some time and the staff will start to know you - it's always great to have the bartender know your fav drink before you sit down. Eventually you'll become more comfortable and can socialize in that environment more easily and even if you have an off night you're still not broke from paying for a date and got to listen to to good tunes.

I actually enjoyed it, I was dancing with couple of chicks and I gave them my number. One hesitated so I asked the other if she’s single which she said yes. I gave her my number and a manly hand shake for the hell of it. She’s definitely not calling me😂😂.
