I used to check the user reviews on IMDB.
It was possible to order the reviews by rating, but now that is not possible.
I see a lot of user reviews trash this film.
One of the best ways of ascertaining a film's (or a book's quality on Amazon) is to read the negative reviews.

It appears that IMDB don't want you to read negative reviews any longer - just "helpful" ones.

Hot garbage. Dumpster fire. And not just a poorly made movie. Everything about it was very deliberate.

I think it's much more likely that there is someone or a group out there who really hate Disney and have nothing better to do with their time then use a bot network to drive the ratings down hoping to impact Disney's bottom line. Bottom line is it's just an entertaining movie. Sure there might be some SJW overtones in the film (haven't seen it). Does that deem the movie to be a piece of shit. I doubt it all my friends who have seen it have loved it. Some people are just really easily triggered. If star wars triggers you - you should take a step back and evaluate your life again and where your priorities are.
