I created this while contemplating what I could say that just about anyone would have a hard time rebuking. Not that I'll probably ever need it as I manage to stay under the radar quite well these days. So, in case it can come in handy to the rest of you. Here you are:

Simply put, I can't trust someone that can destroy my life on a whim. That can bring everything I have ever worked for, be it a pittance or a palace, crashing down around me with a few lies. Possibly without her even intending to do so but the wrong person overheard/misunderstood and suddenly I am in cuffs being dragged away to defend myself against accusations I can barely comprehend. If I am even given the luxury of being told what I have supposedly done, that is. Guilty until I spend what is left of my time, energy, and resources to prove my innocence only to continue to be vilified by a society too enamored with drama to ever care about truth.

No, this is my life. It is the only one I will ever get and I refuse to hand it over to petty, ignorant, selfish children. I am risk averse and thanks to the justice system coddling the “fairer” sex; women have become nothing but a risk I see no benefit in taking.
