We're glossing over the ingrained need for companionship because we've conditioned ourselves to be insulated from it.

Don't think that will translate to the majority of society simply because we're adapted to living without it.

Sex is simply icing on the cake called love, it is not the sole reason men get in relationships. It's not even a driving factor thanks to the sexual revolution.

Think about it rationally. What is really driving so many of us to opt out currently? It's certainly not lack of sex (for most of us non incel) as that is easy as hell these days. In fact... Sex is pretty much the only damn thing modern women have to offer, as things like loyalty and compassion and respect have all but vanished from their skill set thanks to feminism.

Love or rather the complete absence of it, is what is currently driving the surge in mgtow. As men wake up to the reality that romance is dead and women killed it gleefully.

Sexbots can't duplicate that (yet) so I doubt it will have much impact on the plight of regular Joe's craving companionship. It will undoubtedly have an impact on women though, as they slowly realize they'll have to bring more to the table than sexy panties moving forward.

Considering legalized prostitution hasn't changed anything in the places where it's legal, I doubt it. AI wifebots might succeed at that, but women would instantly try to get those banned on "muh human rights" grounds to keep their monopoly on pussy.
