I'm finally planning my trip to see the Sphinx. It's been on my bucket list for years and I'm finally making it a reality. Here's the problem. I'm Canadian and I hate the heat :)

I'm assuming that a December/January trip would be the best time to go but I'm basing this on Canadian seasons.

Anyone been there that can offer advice? I may pick up some salt tablets for the day of. I'm assuming that the tunnels and shafts would be hotter than outside, but maybe the Ancients accounted for that and the chamber's are cool.

Any and all temperature related advice is welcome. Thanks in advance
