So many movies are an exercise in cliché. 1. Hero is very heroic but flawed by booze/loss of child/loss of partner etc. 2. Villain is really bad and goes out of their way to be as bad as possible. 3. Some romantic interest even when the plot doesn't need it. 4. Hero has to get smashed around a bit.

Boring. Boring.
