I've noticed this too. Lots of "Fight Clubbers" here. This isn't incels. Some of us still have sex, some of us don't. Some of us even get along with women. That doesn't mean we believe in unicorns. They're the same guys that think you have to be a level 30 womyn slayer to play in their guild.

Yeah they call you incel or PUA or thirsty. Or if the story pertains to a woman they just ask why you care, as if Mgtow have super woman shield and we are super heroes. It's mostly new or young guys that think this is a club and they wanna be the cool thought police. This is the same line of reasoning that women use to infiltrate male spaces; it is step one of destroying them.

A community has the right to have standards and to ask those who don't adhere to their standards to leave. Free association is as much a right as free speech. A community which does not enforce its standards (initially via culture, soft-shaming and mentoring, eventually by banning and exiling) will soon not have any standards, or any community.

All movements have the danger that some within that movement will see themselves as the keepers of the 'one true way' and anyone who deviates from this is just plain wrong. We can see this with feminism for example. And it's a danger because factionalism will destroy any movement from within. Now I'm going my own way but my version of it might be different to yours. And whose to say who is 'right' and who is 'wrong'?

People are afraid of shills and denaturing the subreddit. I can't blame them, they've received direct threats about such things. What many people are afraid of is a muddying of the waters. Look at the metrics for r/TRP and r/PUA. The red pill created an environment suitable for pickup artists, and so they came in droves- the underlying philosophy was lost. We're trying to avoid the same thing and keep this philosophy pure. If we don't call out people seeking women and sharing dating strategies, this will become a subreddit about traditional, old fashioned relationships, or end up an an incel hub. Not a subreddit about men leaving societal norms to follow the path of self mastery.

Basically, we've crafted something unique here, and we don't want 'groupthink' to fuck it up. We aren't like incels, we aren't like the red pill. What we are is MGTOW. This distinction must remain clear. Any examples of MGTOW should be found here, not where they're in minority, having their responses cherry picked for weakness.

We need to stay together. People are threatened by our ideas.
