My mom and my older sis are AWALT personified. My younger sister has seen them and is disgusted by it and is showing signs of unicorn, but not yet confirmed. My grandparents were from different generations and didn't have feminism as it is now to support possible hypergamy.. I bet my grandma made my grandpa's life miserable though..

I think most humans are selfish, stupid, shallow, and manipulative. I don't think being selfish is a bad quality either.

AWALT doesn't mean we hate women. It doesn't even mean that all women are bad. It just means they all have the same nature and you should be aware of it.

With female relatives their is no sexual attraction. You aren't hot for your mom or sister, your brain is hardwired no to view them as potential mates. And they don't see you that way either. So you can just deal with eachother as people.

And some women are good women who stay faithful to their husbands and are good mothers to their sons. Again, AWALT doesn't mean they are all lying golddiggers, it just means they are all capable of that sort of behavior.

I love my sisters and mom. Besides they're different because we grew up poor as fuck and were forced into some lame ass religion that didn't let us develop proper social skills. We're weird.

My grandmother married at least 5 people in her life and took the money that should have gone to their family when each one of them died or left.

The only woman in my family I could have a reasonable conversation with that meant a damn thing was my mom, and she's passed away now.

My sisters are both selfish, stupid, shallow, manipulative pain in the ass types. THey both learned long ago to be parasites, sucking the money and life from whatever man they latch onto next.

Other women in the family are vapid self centered fools who dominate their husbands, and those guys are idiots for putting up with that crap.

I spend zero time with women EVER, unless it's at a family function or something mandatory for work, and even then it's all about busineess, weather and neutral topics.

Ooook... I used to think like you. Probably 10 years ago I would like to have a relationship like the one my grandparents had. Traditional and all stuff, raised 2 children and my grandma stayed at home. Never had to work a day in her life.

When my grandfather got ill from cancer you know who used to wake up every night? And do most stuff for the old man? Me. Grandma just played the victim most times. Attention and sympathy seeking in strangers. And nagging. She could be emotionally overload, but when my mother got ill one year later (cancer too), she genuinely cared and sure I noticed the difference.

More pills??? She once was angry and told me she would have better married xxxx because grandpa was dead. (How unconsiderate from him! /s).

More? Sometimes she starts calling names of people when she needs something, calling her sister, caregivers and such. Even calls that xxxx because she goes nuts. She never reminds my grandfather.

More? Sure!! She used to mention my grandfather in front of strangers or not close family, I'm a widow type of thing. But in front of me she just mentioned him twice the first year after the decease. Later on she started using it as a shame tactic. What your grandparent would think about you treating me like this and such... Manipulation, shame tactics and playing the victim all in one. When I stop tripping from that and was no longer effective she stopped mentioned him.

Can tell you other things, like for example she remembering her dead sisters and go sad or cry, or her daughter. She didn't do that for my grandfather even once. At least that I noticed.

They were married for more than 50 years, she never had to work and he left good savings for her. And the old man was great, like great as a human being: wise, cult, was a teacher and a good one, taught me how to read and lots of things about life, we even used to study together, same table, he asking me lessons or explaining me things. He loved simple life... My grandmother used to cook meanwhile or just clean around. You know, the "perfect" family.

Is that enough for you? Got more examples but don't wanna overextend.
