That would suggest that they actually would put in any actual effort.
[–]SovereignSoul7610 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Effort is like....for like carpenters and stuff. I have a degree in social work. Ugh, I'm going to need a 6 dollar coffee to forget you suggested that.
[–]fuckyouredditcunts772 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
My ex had a degree in social work. One of my favorite moments was when she and her colleagues protested at the state capital about eliminating poverty, homelessness, inequality etc. Basically everything that keeps them employed.
[–]leiphos0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I think the reason they go into that field though is because they think they’re helping the people who are suffering from those things. If they wanted more money, they’d drop the nonsense and go into STEM or business. But they don’t, it’s more emotionally driven. So the protest would be ideologically consistent.
[–]fuckyouredditcunts770 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I would agree to a point but I also think it reflects a failure on their part to fully consider the consequences of the intended outcome.
[–]Tiredofnormies16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That would mean to actually do something that requires effort and not just whining.
[–]jamocadyn8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
That would mean that they'd actually risk their lives for their claptrap. Note that feminism was a Communist plot to overthrow the institution that kept America strong from the siren song of Socialism and Communism...namely the intact, "nuclear" family with a father and a supportive mother to pass on the American traditions (self-reliance, work ethic, belief in God, the sanctity of the individual, and a non-intrusive government). The Communists were able to take down the Brits because of their stratified society; the French and Italians because of their chaotic, ineffective, and corrupt governments; the Germans (well come on those guys fell for Nazism, which is only one step before Communism--National Socialists versus International Socialists); and Greece (basket case with a society that had been infiltrated by the Communists during WW2.) The only way the Communists could defeat the USA was from within (feminism, post-1970 Hollywood, replacing the moral compass of a nation to whatever feels good--"if it feels good it can't be bad"), which they did through academia. (If a university PhD prof says it--it must be true)

Check out a number of interviews of Yuri Bezmenov back in the early 80s, a former KGB agent who defected to the West back in the late 70s (you can probably find them on Youtube if they haven't been taken down). Then read his books. He was quite a prolific writer.
Note that feminism was a Communist plot to overthrow the institution that kept America strong from the siren song of Socialism and Communism
Do you have a source for this? I’d love to be able to use this argument and back it up if it’s true.

I think the worst enemy of a MGTOW are Tradcons and MRAs.
Feminists have helped us, albeit inadvertently, in so many ways. They're not really the enemy, they're the annoying crickets who won't stop chirping.
[–]I-am-the-lul2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The average run-of-the-mill feminist may not be much of a threat(false rape accusations don't count) but Big Feminism™ with their ability to get worse and worse anti-male laws passed will become a huge threat to your personal sovereignty.
[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Let me reposition this argument for you so you can gain a different perspective.
Would you rather go back to the plantation or stay a MGTOW?
Would you change your answer if I could promise you would have no knowledge of the RedPill?
Do you think you are better off now or when you were bluepilled?
How did you learn about female nature?
How was female nature best demonstrated to you?
Why did you finally take the red pill?
[–]I-am-the-lul1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Stay MGTOW
No, long before discovering MGTOW, I had no interest in dating let alone marriage.
MGTOW revealed knowledge about female nature that I haven't had before but due to the lifestyle I was leading, it didn't really change anything as I have been unknowingly living like a MGTOW monk for decades now.
Always noticed something inconsistent between what everyone says women are like and how women actually behave, MGTOW provided me with the reasons why this inconsistency exists.
Hard to think of a personal example offhand.
Due to unknowingly living like a MGTOW monk, I cannot say that I took the red pill so much as inhaled the red pill mist over many years which is why I never suffered the Red Pill Rage.
You gotta understand that I have always an oddball with hermit-like tendencies and outside a couple of infatuations as a teenager, I have never fallen in "love" with anyone, so any observations about female nature come from an 'outsider looking in' POV rather than any personal dealings with the opposite sex which makes me as atypical of a MGTOW as you can get.

This. Feminism has liberated MEN. Think about it. 50-60 years ago, sure you didn't have nearly as much feminist cancer but if you were single, male, and age 30+ people would discriminate against you in large numbers of ways. Well if women are all "strong and independent and single" then by default so are heterosexual men!
If you're smart about it you can be financially independent on a part time job or purely off your investments. In the past wage slave was considered the only option, even if it was still your money you were spending.
Exactly!
Even 25-30 years ago, a single guy like me without any attachment to a wife and kids was seen as dangerous in the corporate world because I was too unpredictable. Now people (especially those who were divorced raped) respect you more when they realize you were smart enough to avoid the stupid mistake of marriage.
[–]CeleritySteam0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Unpredictable = not a slave, aka they could not garner your willing loyalty. Pretty much yeah.
[–]Marl_MGTOW[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Really - that's interesting. What makes you think MRAs are our main enemy ?
[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They're trying to re-conceal female nature and take everyone back to the plantation.
[–]keysongot8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Exactly, the only place that needs feminism is the muslim countries, if anything we need "maleism" in the west.
[–]curiouslyengaged0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They don't need feminism - they have it exactly right ...

Whenever a feminists says someone is I" "Islamophobic" I crack up laughing because those poor women in the middle East need feminism and if anyone should be scared of that religion it's women.
