It's all the added sugar in damn near everything. It's making everyone fatter. Carbohydrates are also stupidly cheap to produce, process, and preserve.

Tinfoil Hat: I think it's part of a plot to push early death on people, hoping most fall prey to obesity and an early grave before they're old enough to collect social security.

My kids hate it that the only thing sweetened at my place are the freeze pops and the single box of fruit loops. Hell, even the ketchup is the no-extra-sugar kind. Their mom can get them lucky charms and all that shit, but I'm not going to add to it.

In my experience, problem is not exercise (although people may not be doing that enough) - it's diet. So fast more (like a meal a day keto) to lose excess weights
