The problem is that in actual combat (I'm not military a expert), and I believe this to be true, because it's evolutionary, doctrinal missions would be possibly compromised the male instinct takes over when a female gets hurt.

If Private John goes down with a wound, you lay down suppressing fire and drag him to safety. If Specialist Jane goes down I see a different scenario occurring, as the focus of the unit changes under that dynamic. Especially if you have to "leave people behind" to take a hill or bunker or whatever.

Letting Jane bleed out is going to be a lot harder to deal with than letting John bleed out. Different decisions will be made, women will be held as backup units, which is not where you need your weaker, 108 lb. people to drag Cpl. Sanchez, the 6'8" 275 lb door kicker. I see a lot of hardcore PTSD about this if women on the front line are being blown to pieces by IEDs and such. God forbid you had actually had a clandestine relationship with her.

But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe soldiers will just look at Jane desperately trying to stuff her guts back in and be like, "Fuck her boys, let's take that hill! Let the priests deal with her!"

As long as 18 year old girls are LARPing as disposable men dying so I may sit back, sip a cold one, and keep my gas tank full, I hope that is paired with a new concept of "never leave a man behind" with, "you need to fight your nature because that broad you've been simping for since you haven't seen a woman in 9 months is just a disposable resource, and if she dies she dies"

Laundry was an early challenge.

For years, the men washed clothes any time at night. Now, there are alarms and schedules. A “female” sign goes on the door when needed.

The women also balked at the early plan to put their living quarters on a separate floor from their squadmates. So base leaders now use one of four main sleeping bays to house the women. Cameras keep constant watch on the bay door and the stairs, and there’s always a woman at the monitoring station.

“There’s nothing they dislike more than to be separated,” said Col. Kelly Kendrick, the brigade commander. He said the women just want to “fit in and do the same as everybody else.”

This is the third class of recruits at Benning to include women. When they’re not sleeping or washing clothes, they’re completely integrated into their units.

More than 36 percent of Benning’s women have left — about twice the rate of men. Injuries have sidelined other women who plan to restart the training.

This is just the beginning. Wait until they get in country somewhere and your unit starts having female soldiers pregnant. Now you're going to be severely understaffed and that will weaken the unit.

$35 mil just so girls can pretend to be one of the boys.... I wish I could pick and choose when to play with the boys for a bunch of pats on the back, then quit whenever I want and still get all the praise. Instead, I have to sign up for the draft when I'm 17 and have a bunch of women not even recognize I did such a thing because they don't even know the draft still exists. Being A Girl Is Hard....

Carrying all that weight is hard on the joints and the back. Even more so when you're running up a hill or climbing a mountain. I watched the old movie Devil's Brigade...I just can't see women going up the side of a mountain laden with combat gear and extra ammunition for a sustained attack.
