It's next to impossible to make someone understand something when their income depends on NOT understanding it. Everybody knows they're lying and why. Even themselves.

I don't care to get involved in the psychology of liars and attention whores. It's too much to unravel and a waste of time honestly.

But what chaps my hide about this current state of witch-hunting is people portraying these "victims" as "heroes".

No, a "hero" would have went to the police and stood up to these so-called monsters as soon as was humanly possible. That's what a "hero" would do. Because it's difficult, scary, and you just want to hide from it all... but you do it because it's the right thing to do. We call that being an adult.

Instead, what they actually are is cowards. Who don't have the nerve to do the right thing until it has become a modern day feeding frenzy... then they jump in with the #MeTooMeTooMeTooMeTooIMSOBRAVE

If these things truly happen, their silence allowed these monsters to continue to victimize future innocents. In what world is that a "hero"?

To the woman who has been sexually harassed or abused:

Look in the mirror. Look at your two arms, your two legs, your face. Look in your checkbook. Take note of the figure. Look at your Facebook and Instagram profile, and your contact list in your phone. Look in your purse. Notice the healthcare card. If you have children, or family, or parents, look at them.

Look at all the good things you have. Imagine if they were taken from you, and what that would do to you.

That is what tragedy looks like; these good things taken from you. It happens to people better than you, and worse than you. And when these things are taken from you, you'll have to find a way to move on with much less to work with.

So when you put whatever you went through as the worst thing that could have happened, don't fool yourself. You are the same now as you were before, and perhaps a bit wiser. Other people far better than you, and far better than me, suffered far worse, and were far more undeserving of the tragedies which befell them.

When I talk to those who have suffered much, they often speculate about what sort of tragedy they would have rather suffered than the tragedy that befell them. "I'd rather be bankrupt than have this happen," or "I'd rather have died," or "I'd rather be in prison."

So, give all that could have happened, and given all that does happen, what in this malicious universe would you have rather suffered than this tragedy you suffered? What is this pain you are suffering worth, and if you could choose a different torment, what would you choose instead?

If you are like most anyone who has suffered from a sexual tragedy, you would become indignant and hostile at the question...possibly because you know, very well, that in the realm of tragedy, your particular tragedy doesn't measure up to other examples of tragedy you see everyday.

Are you a victim? Perhaps you are. But you have everything you had before your tragedy; you aren't missing arms or legs, you aren't missing your life savings, and you aren't fighting for your life. All you have is yourself to overcome. Other tragedies exact more of a price.

I feel bad for women who were actually sexually abused, not these whores who wanted a chance to sleep with someone with a little bit of money and power and decided to play victim 10+ years down the line after they were aged into irrelevance.

either women can report a crime to the police like normal adults, or they're inferior to men. they can't be equal to or superior to men, yet afraid or ashamed to admit they were a victim.

there are far too many changeable factors across sexual assaults that make it impossible to make blanket statements like this, doesn't take a genius to realise that. how can you take that statement seriously?

are any blanket statements like that even worth saying? it just makes you look stupid 90% of the time
