That is factually incorrect. Red Pill, outside of the sexual strategy piece, is about self improvement and becoming the best person one can be. Very specifically it is underlined that you should not give a flying fuck about what other people think. Very clearly underlined that you should follow your passion. Be the best person you can be. And very clearly stated that pussy is everywhere (abundance) and you should never prioritize pussy over yourself, your friends, your hobbies and your passions. I follow both that and this sub and I see some truth in both. Lot's of AFCs in both subs as well. I am thankful that I can get sex, improve my health, improve my finances and not get fucked by getting married (a second time) because of these two subs. I get why you feel this way, and that's okay, but please don't misrepresent TRP. Lifting, reading, improving, becoming; those are not "worse than blue pill" traits. Not sure why morality is a concern here - girls want sex, guys give sex. Girl wants commitment, guy doesn't want commitment and makes it clear. Girl stays or leaves, guy DGAF and keep on trucking.

I saw the original post that OP's is referring to. In my opinion it comes from a random AFC who thinks he understands TRP. Just the fact he feels that he needs to explain TRP to girls shows he has no idea what he's talking about. Hobbies can be things like smoking weed and video games, sure, but from what I see (been reading TRP for 8 months) TRP hobbies are a lot more about things like MMA, playing an instrument, dancing, learning to speak in public, starting a small business, learning a new language, etc. I wouldn't categorize these as nerdy hobbies. I see much focus in TRP self-improvement activities. Strength, success, wisdom, resilience, stoicism, social skills, self-control, consistency... to me it feels like those things are complementary and show focus. Much of that stuff overlaps with MGTOW, although MGTOW is more "do what you want to be happy" vs. TRP's "do what you need to be successful and happy".
Many men want to be successful anyway - the overlapping is clear between both subs.
