Former "bestie" (yes fuck me I know) used to look at her phone every minute. Literally. It got to the point where I wouldn't go to the movies with her anymore because that bright screen in my peripheral vision would kill the immersion for me. She argued that I cannot forbid her to use her phone and made a real scene, and I just told her I'm not forbidding anything, I was asking for a bit if respect but since that is evidently not present I wouldn't be interested in going to the movies with her anymore.
Whole friendhip was dropped over another thing, but thats a whole different story. Last I knew of her, she was a terrible person and I took forever to realize that.
