I certainly feel my level of clarity has raised exponentially and my view(s) on life have altered. I used to work in DC/NOVA/NYC over the course of the past 5 years and moved back to the Adirondacks which is MY home area. Did the dating/partying charade whilst living in those metropolitan areas and do not regret it at all, my twenties so far have been filled with immense fun and good times. Now though when I return to a city setting I honestly feel terrible for these people in their million mile an hour lifestyle that does not allow them to even so much as step back and appreciate their time on the third rock from the sun. Though I cannot generalize all in this way I certainly rarely find people with my mindset. I guess as I approach age 28 I am maturing but sometimes I think I have gone completely off the reservation of the modern era but really that's okay if you ask me. As someone who is supposed to be part of the digital era I have not had any social media besides this platform for over two years, I have literally been treated like an outcast by women in the past because of this and that's just so sad if you ask me. Not for me I feel no sorrow but for those that can judge off of something so minuscule. Alas as society continues to value artificial intelligence over biological intelligence I shall sit back and enjoy the decline. Now I take the time everyday to really appreciate my surroundings, the immense mountain chain I live in, the wind sweeping through my hair, the leaves falling from the trees, etc. Go forth in your own unique way friends and enjoy your precious time here on Earth.
