Yes, I would be. Look, the double standard in which men and women are treated is bad. The fact that women are seen as precious resource and men seen as expendable is horrible. However, even if that were to change, I refuse to be a provider. There's nothing in it for me. I honestly don't care for children and when I internalized that, the desire for a woman in my life went right out the window. It's like the "independent women". An independent woman basically means she earns money on her own to not need a male provider. Likewise an independent man(in relation to the male/female relationship) is not depending on women for anything. And that means reproduction.

The rest has to do with the relationship itself. I have only a handful of things and I'm happy with that. With a woman? You have to buy more furniture and just things to fill the house with. You may have to attend "family" related things you just don't care for. Not to mention the nagging about the things that you do because she wants to housebreak you into being an extension of herself. I.e. your money, free time, and such is about what she, not YOU, wants. Everytime I hear a man talk about how his wife won't let him do this or that. Or he has to run errands or whatever, it disgusts me.

I want my freedom. I don't want to hear shit about when I go to sleep. Or what time I get home. Or what do I with my free time. And I don't want to be responsible for someone else who would abandon me when I fall on hard times.

To me MGTOW doesn't mean incel or any kind of celibacy, it means no marriage or cohabitation. I don't think I would marry a 2017 woman, even if I could exit without being divorce raped. Why?

In our grandfathers' day each spouse had a function in the household. Nowadays, single women major in the easiest subjects in college, they take whatever jobs they can find in the most fun and expensive cities, they refuse to work long hours, they come and go from their careers whenever they're bored..

So they are trying to use NuMarriage to close the gap between their shitty earnings and hoity toity lifestyle ambitions.

I’m not sure if that’s an answerable question. Are you asking the “if things changed tomorrow” or “if things where never this way to begin with”? Cause if things changed tomorrow, everyone involved would technically be GTOW, because there would be no societal norm. As to if things where never this way to begin with, well you can’t answer with no basis of comparison.

There could still be gynocentric laws and I wouldn't mgtow if women weren't total basket cases to begin with. Hell, we could even be in a matriarchy and I'd still go for it if they wouldn't bring up why I didn't wash a pan 9 months ago just to ignite a shouting match for the mere reason that she wants attention.
