There was a story about an Australian comedian who was raped and killed last week. A bunch of people were commenting that this women "did everything possible to avoid danger but was still murdered". I questioned that reasoning because her corpse was found later that night, so how can anyone know the details of what she was doing before the attack?

It seems the only thing we know for sure is that she was texting her boyfriend. I basically said "it's not a good idea to text while walking alone at night because you need to be aware of your surroundings". I also suggested that women should practice some form of fighting to have a better chance to escape an attacker. Got permabanned for "victim blaming".
