A few questions;

How did the guy get into a kayak without the drain plug and not immediately realise it was filling with water, and....
How can a judge say with a straight face her actions (pulling that plug) didn't constitute an act of attempted murder? Any reasonable person would realise pulling that plug wouldn't end well for the kayak occupant.
