Not OP, but frankly none of them give you both. As far as bang for your buck goes, though, I'd point you towards the front-engine models. The 944 is one of my absolute favorite models, even better if you can find an S or S2.

Just by a used one or an older non classic one - fairly affordable even if you aren't making much.
In times of economic hardship however be careful about driving anything flashy if you don't live in a very secure building - it might make you a target.

But I wouldn't buy anything too expensive until I have FU money. Even Sandman drives around a beater because he doesn't want people to know he has money. I think I will keep investing until I can live somewhere far off. I actually like having a nice house more than a nice car. If women know you have money, you might get MeToo'd.
Maybe get a second car, a used one, which you use for work and any place that you can't just drop and leave. And in your spare time you use your sports car. That would be nice. You could be like Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Oh man, where do I start. I’m a high school drop out, but I made 6 figures every year for the last 20, (except a couple). It’s not just what you make, it’s what you keep. But income is important if you want to get ahead. Didn’t buy my first expensive car until I found a way to pay for it using passive income.

Good question. Well I’ll tell you: buy when everyone else isn’t looking. Sell when everyone else is buying.
In the late 90’s I bought gold at $300/oz. and I bought 3 quadplexes. Everyone else was buying dot coms at the time and ignoring other markets. I rented them out and renovated them. When everyone else was buying real estate in 2003-2006 I sold my quadplexes and my house. I ended up traveling with the quarter million I made from that. I moved to 3 countries and spent 5 years traveling.

A lot of folks feel that way, until they lay eyes on the majesty that is the Ruf CTR "Yellowbird" and fall in love with it. This, of course, is not a Yellowbird, but it evokes the same aesthetic in a 997 (or maybe the newer 991, I always have trouble telling them apart) package.

While I get your argument, I like to wear nice clothing and drive nice cars. I prefer Mercedes SUVs though which aren't considered sports cars or upper class tier.
Nothing repels women more than broke looking guys but there are tons of jobs where you best not look broke either.
