Because men are competitive for power, money, status which translates into pussy amount. Here men don't compete for women and are more laid back. No need to out-alpha anybody. MGTOWs are most probably most based men you will ever meet.

It’s weird, half the guys I know live MGTOW lifestyle but have never heard of the word. Usually we end up talking about music or trading though - women don’t come up much.

I got one. We talked about relationships and we agree a lot. I didn't mention MGTOW at all. I don't try to give the mentality a name and I believe some men just have to learn on their own. So one day he walks into my workplace and guess what he mentions? Fucking MGTOW.
