I first thought - Wow, these guys hate women and are making a cause to completely ignore marriage, but they are obsessed with the topic. Gee, if they were really dedicated, they wouldn't need to make posts trying to redpill - they could just move on. But I get it now. I get that there is intense social pressure and the need for a place of support. If a woman says, "I don't need no man," she's honored. If a man says he doesn't need a woman, he is labeled a pathetic pile of scum (exception for gays etc.). Why? Why is there such a pressure to chase and marry women? Why do people say if you cut out marriage/women you will die unhappy and alone? What the hell, THAT is the secret to complete despair? Movies, TV, all the people around you, so many parts of life tell you that you need to marry a woman. If you go around telling people you plan on never getting married, they will either feel incredibly sorry for you or mad at you. The world paints marriage as the central most important thing in life for men. Other men are hard on men, and women are even harsher when it comes to this subject. So, I get why there needs to be a place of support. You are not safe saying simply that you don't want to cohabit or get married - you will be dragged through the mud. It's hard, and it's going to be hard.

There is nothing dangerous about being MGTOW - you aren't going to die unhappy if you do it. There isn't some special pit in hell for people like you. It's okay, and despite what the world thinks, it's not that big of a deal. But, it's hard out there. So I understand the need for this subreddit.

I could talk about divorce/ custody/ cheating etc, but you get that so I'll point out that famous rappers, A-List, who are open about having killed, mugged, been in crime syndicates, beaten women, raped - and they will still be adored and treated better by women than you going around with your MGTOW beliefs. You are worse than a murderer, or criminal for being an MGTOW.

On Jordan Peterson (made a video about this subreddit), since it's on my mind, Jordan Peterson, in my opinion, just has Stockholm syndrome. He says he bases his conclusions on logic but is too up his own ass. The logical conclusion is that marriage is central to all happiness in life? Are you kidding? To think any one thing is central to happiness is insane. The only logical conclusion is that people have been socialized into thinking it is the most important thing in life, and he is just another person socialized that way. If he said that men don't need to get married, he would spit at by his students but more importantly his wife. If Peterson was on our side, he would have to consider his marriage is a mistake and his socialized brain couldn't point him in the direction that he's been wrong this whole time.

Can you get a wife and be happy in life? Maybe, but not in my opinion - I've never seen that. What's worse: 1)being in an unhappy marriage 2) potentially divorced, losing your kids, when you're too old to start dating again but still obsessed with vagina having been around one for however many years, or 3) being single, occasionally mingling or not, and doing some hobby. 3 is the best option and there is no logic that could point otherwise, period. Arguments otherwise are just going to rely on archetypes, and poetic b.s. We're right guys, and it's time to have spread some confidence on this topic.
