To get women to like you, you must pretend like you don't like her

I was watching the YouTube video below that is typical red pill nonsense. It claims that in order to make women like you, you must act as if you don't want women. Don't you think this is so childish, ie pretending that you don't care about women because you care so much about women that you want them to like you? I actually went through a phase on life when I actually did pretend not to care about women but I suppose I started to believe my lie and now I actually don't care about women.
