What do you guys think of the book "No More Mr. Nice Guy"? It describes the same problematic behavior, except attributed to a result of personal shame and low self-esteem, rather than feminism in culture.

Feminism is the problem. Feminism is what causes the problem.

But the book is for the individual. You can't fix society, but you can fix yourself.

Much like TRP.... you can't fix women, but you can change how you react to them. One only has control over themselves.

Feminism certainly shames men simply for being men, resulting in this societal trend of "nice guys".

Many modern men have been taught from a young age "how men operate", and that those operations are wrong. As such, they grew up without any guidance into being a man other than "be nice", which in reality results in compliant, cowardly men.

Some of them recognize this societal dishonest and lash out in resentment, resulting in MGTOW and the PUA community.

TRP is all about acknowledging these deceits, and simply taking back the lives that we should have felt free to have since the beginning.

Feminism in culture never affected me that much personally. Yes, it is true that most everyone around me is semi-"brainwashed" by the influence, but you can bring them into your reality when you personally communicate with them.

If they reject your reality, you reject them. There are plenty of people that I've been able to bring to my reality, girls included.

I've read the book, hit like a ton of bricks, had me to a tee. It's been very helpful though, actually making me realise a lot of the behaviours I had, and I'm trying to break them.

Feminism broadly causes shame and low self-esteem in men. The book just decided to go after the underlying issue that each individual needs to deal with rather than allowing the man to externalize it first.

It's not immediately clear what problematic behavior you're referring to. Are you talking about white knighting / male weakness in general?

Every possible human behavior is "natural" in that it exists somewhere in humanity regardless of societal approval or disapproval. However, society definitely determines how common one behavior is relative to another. And, any type of behavior has numerous possible causes or reasons.

Are there weak men who are weak because of feminism? Sure. Are there others who are weak because of low self esteem? Sure. Can some of that low self esteem be attributed to feminism? Of course, but not all. Would there be less pedestalling of women if feminism went away? Obviously. Would there be none at all? Obviously not.

Current levels of societal misandry are toxic and omnipresent. Changing that would make a massive difference in overall male and female happiness. It wouldn't fix everything, nor will "everything" ever be fixed.

With that said: at an individual level, the explanation doesn't matter. The world is as it is, and to be happy and successful we need to deal with it as it is- regardless of how it got there.

The book does put a good part of the blame on feminism. It advises men to step away from the influence of women and feminism as part of rebuilding their self-esteem.

From the introduction:

These events combined to have a major impact on American boys growing up in this era. These social changes created three profound dynamics that contributed to the wide spread phenomena of the Nice Guy Syndrome in the baby boom generation.

1) Boys were separated from their fathers and other significant male role models. As a result, men became disconnected from other men in general and confused as to what it meant to be male.

2) Boys were left to be raised by women. The job of turning boys into men was left to mothers and a school system dominated by women. As a result, men became comfortable being defined by women and became dependent on the approval of women.

3) Radical feminism implied that men were bad and/or unnecessary. The messages of radical feminism furthered the belief of many men that if they wanted to be loved and get their needs met, they had to become what they believed women wanted them to be. For many men, this meant trying to hide any traits that might cause them to be labeled as "bad" men.

In my group almost every guy is brainwashed and suffering because of academic femenism. It's pretty systemic.

You have 3 types: 1) The subtle Alpha who gets all the play 2) the Beta Orbiter who gets a table scarps 3) And the omega that doesn't get anything.

All by women who seem to think they are the hottest shit around, when they are at best 7s.
