That statistic is outdated, and almost certainly obsolete.

Now -- with #MeToo, etc -- that it has become "fashionable" (and in many cases profitable) to claim to have been "abused"; and also now that the definition of "abuse" has been redefined to mean "anything that makes a woman FEEL 'bad' or even 'uncomfortable' or which she regrets" (even long after the event)...

There is little doubt in my mind that -- in the [current year] -- the figure is VASTLY higher... > 90%, probably > 95% and approaching 99%, of all such "abuse" claims are false; with the vast majority of them entirely fictional,imaginary, and self-serving.

One youtuber had an interesting solution for stuff like this. Once criminal accusations are made, the case should move from family court to criminal court, where false allegations are not popular. All this amounts to perpetrating a fraud on the court, with the court's complicity.

not exactly false because it's real to the women (except for the ones who are outright lying) but the problem is they just assume the guy is the bad guy in the scenario when he's just likely drunk&high as she was. Lena Dunham's rape account from what I recall reads like this (except it was likely untrue) where she and the other guy were both out of their skulls on xanax, coke, and alcohol but somehow he was still to blame because...emotions.

But you have guys who thought they had a fun sexual encounter then latter got #metoo because she changed her mind or her friends convinced her to change her mind (which is why MGTOW for young men especially is nearly a necessity). We've been brought up to think of sexual assault as something violent and ugly needing to be highly punished because such men are evil scum who probably laughed an evil laugh as they did it. The reality is it was most likely another young male wet behind the ears who didn't realize he was sticking his dick into a mass of unstable emotional baggage.

Women are changing the definitions to be so vague that typically logical guys are dumbfounded then we're called misogynists and insensitive because we want a clear defined meaning.
