You know, a career in the law isn't that hard really, not in Australia. Well, its not hard if you are prepared to put in the work.

You get your qualification (JD or LLB) and you volunteer/intern/slave at a whole bunch of places. There are no shortage of unpaid positions. You do that for 6-12 months and you can move into hired jobs.

Yeah, it fucking sucks having to work unpaid. But that is the legal profession for you. We get paid okay once you are done and working conditions are good. No one said it would be easy? Damn.
