I see often that mgtows say that it was feminism or social media that fucked over marriage and relationships. The truth is monogamous relationships with women are actually a degeneracy for males. Yes they are a product of civilization, but not all civilizations are "civilized", and certainly not forever.

Paleo

We evolved from the ape. The female ape will have sex with several apes, none of them will stay around to provide for her. It would be extremely counterproductive and suicidal for any ape to stay around. This is because most likely the baby is not his. Therefore apes focus on spreading their sperm on as many females as they can. Makes sense right? Hence why we males dont have baby rabies, and we mostly want sex, we are not concerned about the babies at all.

When human civilizations started to gather around tribes and packs of hunter gatherers, it was a big nuisance if you actually married a woman. What happened was, that the women of the tribe had a role and along with the children they were protected as a whole. And that is basically the role of fatherly love, to pass down the spear, instead of being the idiot cuck provider. Of course women were very submissive. Women had sex with different men of the tribe. But marriage, or commitment was inexistent. Hence why, they say prostitution is the oldest profession. Because primitive women were good competent fair cheap prostitutes who performed according to male expectations and standards.

Of course this was very unstable. And you might think. Fuck that, im not going to live as a cuck in a tribe, where female hypergamy could still operate on a daily basis. I would go my own way. Except female hypergamy was not really a choice when men were scarce and their muscle was needed every second. Every man was valuable and alpha in paleo times. And the males of the tribe were probably dudes who would die to save you, that hunted along side with you, that perhaps would not fight you for a female, but would fight you to make you stronger. See? The thing is that today you cant go your own way, you are dependent on a huge tribe (society) that hates you, and wants you dead, intoxicated and passive, and only the very strong escape which often by nature become alpha or mgtow (i will refer to the mouse utopia experiment later). If you wanted to leave the tribe in the paleo times, you could leave, there were plenty of places to go where you had the skills and strenght to survive alone, lets please not analyze it with our bias and alienation of the modern world. If today you want to leave civilization and depend on yourself you are fucked, because the whole world is owned, the wild is fucked, and including yourself, you are owned. The paleo times were times of abundance in natural wild sources, it was a life of action and adrenaline, there was plenty of time to rest and do nothing.

We can still observe this dynamic in most surviving tribes in our modern world. There is a chief, but the chief is often a religious and spiritual chaste male, that is not the alpha male that civilized hypergamic women supposedly want. Women will have sex with different men, and the child are all child of the tribe, regardless, because every men is valuable in the wild, they will not have time to be selective, because they have very few options.

Civilization emerges through the enslavement of men

Was it the agricultural revolution that ruined it all? Or was it overpopulation and overhunting, that triggered the invention of agriculture and therefore religion and therefore walled cities, armies, oligarchy and slavery? In my opinion it was overhunting and the necessity to invent an alternative that caused the agriculture revolution and complex trade networks and cities, but this is my opinion. You can see that civilization emerged on fertile plains that were in contrast very close to advancing barren lands. It is this contrast that forced humans to adapt and survive on agriculture and trade.

Still that was far from ideal since relying on agricultural products especially on the beginning was terrible for your health, and thats when humans started developing civilizational diseases. Marriage was created as a way to standardize, sedentarize, domesticate or in other words civilize males. Religion was created to replace all the now lost essence of wild nature of the human male, and his natural huntergatherer ecosystem. Politics, armies and city walls, to keep it under control and expanding.

These civilizations unaware they were now abominations of what is the natural state of humans as a species, kept expanding towards the still free tribes. As a justification for their expansion, they portrayed anyone else as barbarians, because they had philosophy, technology, arts, and great buildings all built on the backs of cucked and enslaved men. To put more wood into the fire, these civilizations were constantly threatened by the same alpha barbarians they tried to cuck, with the occasional pillage and invasion.

A very interesting distinction. Is that the diets of the nomads was still mostly meat based or wild natural sources.

The truth is that all in civilization is unnatural. Marriage being just one of the departments. Food is unnatural too. Work is unnatural too. Watching the news, politics, religion and learning how to live as a cuck is unnatural too. And we do it all since we are kids.

Marriage is essentially a coping mechanism, like religion. Everything was taken from you, you were crushed, and now you are given a sad excuse of a life as a slave.

Civilization relies mainly on the cucking of men and degeneracy of the male. Hence why women are always fantasizing about the wild barbarian bad boy, while helping on the deception and extortion of the cucked civilized men. They are essentially a tool of the system, that is used against men. In a certain sense they are too disenfranchised and spoiled beings.

Because men have no way to know, and to connect all the dots. Because they grew up on this reality. They buy into it out of scarcity mentality and the illusion of security of a marriage. The illusion works for the most. Individuals think always that they can build their house and that earthquakes only happens to the others. The stock market will crash, but it doesnt matter just keep working. The society will collapse, the barbarians will invade, but it doesnt matter. Until reality hits them.

This works because the downfalls are too spaced out for it to have a permanent lasting effect on male consciousness. Just like in relationships, or divorces. The scam is so long term, that males dont even realize it. And female nature acts slowly, and often it takes years, therefore most males never fully realize they all operate under the same pattern. But this is all a product of male degeneracy, because like i said before, males would not accept such a thing in their natural habitat, they are only accepting it as a relief drug. Their nature, as most pre-puberty boys even in civilized countries show is to be "adhd" jumping around, looking out for hunting and playing, they naturally dont want to have anything to do with the females. Even when puberty hits, they still only want sex with females, commitment is just the later final submission and aberration.

The collapse happens when the illusion ends

It is therefore the illusion of security that most "civilized" men want and buy into, that keeps "civilization" going, through cycles. Like an ouroborus. It feeds itself. The reason why men are cucked into commitment is because the environment made them do so, and when they cuck into commitment they are helping that environment to prevail, and so on...

The reason why societies collapse, is because the illusion of security is crushed in the front of their eyes so often, that they cant afford anymore to believe in it, even though even in the last stages of the degeneracy they will long for their relief drug, they will fight for it, and they will slave away and cuck for it to a ridiculous extent. Mgtow behavior becomes standard once males can clearly see in the front of their eyes that females are impossible to maintain in the current environment. That is when the illusion of security, or the scam of civilization drops, and men realize that they have been living a big lie. If one of the main pillars of the civilization is marriage, and it collapses, then the rest will also fall.

The mouse utopia experiment is a great example of this. As the experiment shows, the mice had still plenty of space, and of course were provided plenty of food. The reason why the degeneracy started to happen, was because "alpha males could no longer keep or protect their females" (the official version). Without the bias of the alphas, the truth is that even mice saw that sex became a free for all (i dont believe there is such a thing as monogamy or alphas in mice). The same way today, if you lived in a very dangerous anarchic warzone, to have a female would be a huge liability. You would not have a female to begin with, because she would not be yours, she would be constantly raped and you would either die trying to protect her or you would have to put up with the occasional rape of your wife, which even if you could withstand such a pain, your wife would lose the respect for you for not being able to protect her, therefore destroying your relationship anyways. Also in anarchic situations, there are fights and threats all the time. Females will lose the attraction for you if you lose even one fight. Hence why relying on females or commitment for happiness is downright suicidal even in modern standards.

Hence why male commitment is a degenerate product of civilization and illusion of security.
