I wouldn't classify myself as an activist or anything but I had an interaction with a hardcore feminist tonight that made me angry AF. I'm all for gender equality and everything but this woman (cropped hair dyke tbh) refused to even acknowledge any of the issues men face. For example I explained how deaths due to suicide and military service are predominately males and her response was "oh you clearly hate women, i wont talk to you anymore" and walked away. I was very professional and was careful to only use verifiable facts in my arguments.

I live in Brooklyn and she is more the rule rather than the exception, unfortunately. I'm so fucking sick of it though. I think gender equality goes both ways... but I don't know how to convey that to militant feminists. Thoughts/comments/suggestions?

Also for context: she's currently unemployed and I think some of this bullshit came from me refusing to offer her a job (I own a bar and a software company).

I'm mostly just venting rn tbh but ugh. I'm definitely gonna have to see this girl again. I'm trying to figure out how to approach the conversation next time because I refuse to back down.
