I had to look up what that was, what the hell. Though if you actually employed her and it wasn't "just a friend cleaning for you", I'd be wary of getting sued for discrimination or something stupid, because you emailed her basically why you fired her. Edit: I do not entirely know the law so that may or may not be attempted.

Still though damn I'd rather go get a massage not have absolutely nothing done in a doc's office lol

As a young man who empathizes with your position, I will refrain from commenting on your post and how poorly thought-out it was. It is understandable if you do not often interact with people that your barometer for clarity, novelty, and nuance are perhaps a little rusted.

With that said, I too have spent many years abroad, and I too am very paranoid and not trusting of people. That is the way the world works regardless if you are well off or not. The thing is though, you need to tread with caution and be more analytical rather than neurotic and defensive. Think of what may be and always play mental chess rather than being avoidant, obtuse, and destructive. If you choose to be the ladder, things will only compound themselves and you only get worse and worse over time.

Granted you may be old, but you still have life left, and you want to optimize whatever life you do have and to minimize how much damage you sustained to yourself; such as which, after the fact, it is difficult to reverse and requires extra effort and time to rebuff that of which has been incurred. It is a fundamental rule of life that AWALT. MGTOW is irrefutable. However, it does not mean you need to be miserable and or lonely. You can have a relationship without investment or you can redefine the extent, degree, frequency, scope, and nature of a relationship.

Likewise, you can just go out and make friends and meet new people! But you know what? No one in my business, familial, social, academic, or investment circles are acquainted with anyone outside of the circle to which they know me. And I make purely social friends of varying levels of distinction and context. For this reason, I am able to navigate a rather robust and diverse social life while having very little to no spillover or net negative impact despite the number of vectors and travails I avail myself to.

Am I a high-functioning psychopath? The uninitiated and plebeian may say so, but I still care for people and I still care for the people to whom I am personally bounded; but my hands, my conscience, and my personal life all remain intact, never stained, and never be able to be stained. The most ethical and dignified person is he who can make his own constructions while still enjoying the luster of life.
