I had PTSD earlier this year. Mgtow helped a LOT. What I learned is that PTSD can be either acute or chronic. Chronic means it never goes away, acute means it does. Fortunately my PTSD has largely abated now though I am a changed person because of it. Stick around and see if MGTOW helps you overcome it. If it doesn't you might have chronic PTSD and should talk to a professional. The APA generally considers a 6 months window when diagnosing between acute or chronic PTSD.

If you're a veteran, the VA has ptsd groups that can be of help. Usually they are free as well.

Pretty much ptsd is so much bad has happened you can no longer expect good. Hence why soldiers with it when they hear a bang instead of expecting fireworks or a surprise party they hear gunfire.

It wouldn't surprise me based on story's here if alot fall into that category with women. To always expect a bad result when interacting with women.

My recommendation talk to therapist and get BALANCED you will still have the fear ect associated. But getting the right stuff out (talking) or right stuff in meds (some people it helps some it takes alot of trial and error). But once your not experience extreme highs or lows emotionally.

You then target what you need to do and do it step by step till your no longer afraid and can lead a normalish life. Sometimes it never goes away sometimes it does but the steps are always same.

Back to balancing people with depression often reject drugs because they can no longer experience the extreme highs enabled by brain imbalance and accept the downs as part of package. This combined with googleplex of possible brain structures. Its really really hard to find the one for you. Realistically they are ballparking off of limited observation.

Shrinks are a big waste of money. So you got rejected a few times. We all have that's why we are here or lurking. Spend your money on something you can get and enjoy, not some pseudo Dr phil. For a visit to a shrink you can bang a hot escort 3 times. If you need to talk or vent use this platform like you did.

Key is to be logical.

Feel the same way. The presence of women can ruin something for me. I know it goes back to being abused by my mother/grandmother, but I find it hard to not project it onto every woman. After all, why would they be any different.

My ex-wifes affair, her denial (despite being caught), her lack of remorse, her ability to blame shift everything to me to the point where I questioned my own sanity, the fake domestic abuse accusations, and the god damned court system. All of what I mentioned happening within 5 weeks. That has given me severe C-PTSD. Just seeing a restaurant we went to, or a date on the calendar that meant something, can send me into an anxiety attack. I literally have a bald spot on my head, not from hair falling out, but from me scratching it away due to anxiety and ptsd.
