To go out there and to put one's ego on the line by actually opening real women, that is one thing. East Asia isn't a good area for online dating. Even though Seoul and Tokyo are like 10+ million people each you can swipe through all the women within 48 hours. It's a lot worse in the smaller cities. Even though Fukuoka is like Japan's 4th largest city there was only ever like 6 women on Tinder and none would swipe me back.

Except for one woman all my other bangs came from meeting people in real life / offline.

If you're a tourist in Asia then just stick to youth hostels and hit on the women inside of them (and many Asian women walk alone everywhere so that's a good opportunity to talk to them too).
