Really? Which "family bloodline" would that be?
Your father's? ...which is only 1/2 of your genetic makeup. Or your mother's which is the other 1/2.
Did you mean your father's father's (your grandfather's)?? ...which is only 1/4 of your genetic makeup; or maybe his father's father's (your *great**grandfather's) ...which is only 1/8 of your genetic makeup... perhaps your GREAT great grandfather's which... (\)
-- You starting to get the point? Unless your family has been practicing incest (and more specifically full-brother-sister incest ala "Game of Thrones") then there really ISN'T a single "bloodline" but rather a sort of "mutt-like mixture" of multiple different bloodlines (How many? Well how far you gonna go back?)
-- And the same will be inherently true toward the future as well: any son you might have would only have 1/2 of your genetic mixture (so only 1/4 of your father's genes, 1/8 of your grandfather's genes, and 1/16th of your great-grandfather's genes).
Besides, who's fault is it that you are the SOLE male heir of your generation... much less your "family name" ? What would they have done (or would they do) if you died in some accident before fathering a SON of your own?
-- As for passing down the "family name" -- that's really a different matter entirely -- talk to Julius Caesar about that. (Or indeed Cristiao Ronaldo... if the "family" truly wants you to have a "son/heir" with the primary purpose being to "continue the family name/line," then will they accept & help pay for you to use a "surrogate"? If not, why not? Far less "risk" with that, and in the end probably less total cost to you/the family as well.)
(*) Also, not to be TOO crude about it, but women have been cheating on (and cuckolding) their husbands since time began. Go back enough generations, and there's actually a fairly HIGH statistical possibility that at least one of your ancestral "grandfathers" actually WASN'T the real biological/genetic "father" of the child he (mistakenly) believed to be his "son."
