I live in Ft Lauderdale, and like the rest of the state, we were hit by hurricane Irma. As a long time resident, I didn’t evacuate but I did prepare with shutters, water, food, etc. So after the storm hit I have been without power for the past 4 days and I have to admit it’s been pretty miserable. The temperature has been in the 90’s and it’s humid as hell. All I have been able to do is listen to the radio for hours on end and sweat. What I’ve noticed from these long hours of listening is that people are stupid, but also just how entitled, unreasonable, and impractical women are. People were calling in to the radio station and I would say the 8 of 10 of the callers who just complained about not having power, fuel, or internet access were women. There would be the occasional crotchety old dude, but it was by far women who would call in to just bitch. We were just hit by the biggest storm in recorded history and they expect utilities back within a day. There were also callers who were giving helpful advice and information. I bet you can guess who was making those calls. Yep, 9 out of 10 callers who were suggesting ways to keep food fresh or how to purify water were men. I’m not sure I would have even noticed the gender of the callers before MGTOW.
