I love my mother, but she still has AWALT tendencies and she is not exempt from my criticism. I also realized during my last 2 ltr, my ex's manipulated me and turned me against my mother and I began to hate her, but in reality, she's there for me and I won't take her for granted when she is looking out for me.

I love my mother but she hasn't had a gig in years, and hasn't had a gig from which she could support herself since 1999.

She eats out more than in, doesn't do laundry or dishes, let alone yard work. She doesn't walk the dog or pick up after him. She doesn't dust or handle the HOA.

I know there are also deadbeat men, but here we are.

She's a housecat. A "cheaper to keep her" housecat.

I hate myself for saying it.

I don’t love my mother. Neither my father. They both acted to the disadvantage of my brother and me. We were helpless as kids, and they didn’t gave a shit about us.

I don't feel anything for my mother. She is an AWALT. Annoying AWALT at that who (over the age of 40) acts like an child when things don't go her way. She, along with her husband is very hypocritical as well as entitled whenever I used to actually giving a fuck and buy things for them. They way they act about that is no different from an shelter/spoiled kid and that itself sickens me. These are grown fucking adults who act like children when not getting their way? Yet I'm the childish one when I stand up to them? I'm the childish one when calling them out on their bullshit? Fuck that noise. Frankly I'm in the part of my life where I'm desperately saving up money from a shitty part time job while taking as much as I can from them. I feel no regrets about doing this neither. There are many reasons why I don't feel bad about it, but right now this isn't the time nor place to discuss it.

aside from all that and the constant worrying, nagging, shaming language (i.e., "you're so negative..."), aside from all that...

my Mom is okay. I love her, because otherwise I couldn't complain about her on the internet. I also appreciate the fact that she didn't try to take me from my dad. About as close to a NAWALT as there could be.

But, yeah, when I learned about the Oedipus Complex, I was like:

"nope. Not in a million years. Not with my Daddy's dick."

I have ZERO examples, in my life, of the so-called "perfect woman for me." ZERO. My mom is as flawed, as gynocentric and hybristophilic as any woman. She gets deference because I share her genetics, that is all. Hallmark gets nothing from me.
