I fucking hate Shuri. She may be just a child but her entire purpose is to undermine grown men and make them look stupid. This scene didn't even make sense. Vision may be a mixture of different kinds including Tony, Ultron and Bruce Banner, but he was an invisible AI named Jarvis before then. All the programming and connectivity in the world wouldn't have made him who he is today. It is the Mind Stone that gave him the spark of life to become Vision, a sentient being with a body of his own to do whatever he wished. You can't replace that. Hence why the plan failed and they just wasted time which resulted in Thanos killing him regardless.

Watch how they will bend their own rules in Avengers 4 to make Shuri right and everybody else wrong and bring Vision back to life just because.

shuri doesn't bother me because she grew up in this high tech society that's ahead of the tech that Stark and Banner are using. It's when it's a hot girl like Denis Richards playing a nuclear scientist in a Bond film that I call pandering bullshit or when a scavenger outdoes Han Solo on his own ship and outfights a guy training for years.

The issue is that when the MEN are king of the moment in a movie, its not usually at the expense of the women. In the part you reference, a women is king of the moment at the EXPENSE OF BRUCE BANNER AND TONY STARK.

She could have said "I can do this, and it'll save him" and everyone cheers are the movie goes on (which is how it is when MEN save the day). If it was like that, a black women saves the day, and everyone is happy, and im happy. But the writer had to make it at the EXPENSE of banner and stark because vagina. We know it was at the expense of men, and the writers know it was at the expense of men and that was their intention.

I dont really agree. Yes, the scene of the black girl being smarter than Banner is really uncalled for shit. However, lets not forget that she FAILS COMPLETELY, after being such smart ass.
