I read an article by a journalist recently about the upcoming elections. He had a foolproof method of predicting who’s going to win.

What he does is he calls up the campaigns and offers to volunteer. Based on how eager they are to have him, and what kind of job is available, he can predict who will win.

For example, O’Malley not only offered him a decent job but even offered free housing in NH. O’Malley’s going to lose. Hillary offered only crappy jobs, like signing people into her events. Trump was the worst. Not only did his campaign offer a crappy job—holding Trump signs during rush hour (!)—but even required him to sign a nondisclosure agreement. Looks like we have a new president folks…

In any case, I write this because what the journalist is doing, this is exactly how a woman assesses a man.

An earlier post (that I can’t find) talked about how when a guy looks at a girl, he can tell her value right away because her value is mostly physical. A girl can’t do the same thing, because much of a guy’s value is non-physical. So she relies on preselection and his actions. The post compared the girl's situation as being analagous to the situation of a guy who sees a girl in a burka and has to guess her attractiveness based on how eager she is to engage him.

When a girl shit tests a guy, or when she is assessing the guy, she’s doing the same thing as a journalist. This is why you don’t want to buy girls drinks, and this is the reason behind the Skittles Man

If you’re buying the girl drinks, treating her like a princess, taking her to nice places, you’re O’Malley. You’re telling her that you’re trailing way behind in the polls. If you’re nonchalant, and offer Skittles, you’re signaling that you’ve got the election in the bag. You’re Trump. Most girls would rather take Skittles from the guy who’s in the lead rather than being tied to a loser who puts her on a pedestal.

So… the takeaway? Don’t be giving away the good stuff to any random girl who calls you up and volunteers. Don't give her free housing. Make her sign an NDA.
