To not waste my time on some bitch yes..... If I have realized one thing in my life it's that marriage is not worth it 'anymore'.... Yes 'anymore'. There was a time marriage wasn't such a hassle and the only valuable thing to have out of a marriage is a kid that is the whole premise of marriage. And to some extent all men traditional or not want to have kids. Modern values(or rather lack there of) has made that compromise with AWALT's not only difficult but unbearable. So yes sometimes i look back at the good old times and wonder what it would have been like....but I am realist and kids are no longer worth the ask. You can't go from being traditional minded to self realized at a whim, atleast it's too late for me but i gaurantee that the next generation of mgtowers will be more in line with your views. That's not to say that I don't have my own dreams and hopes for my own life but there will always be this small desire at the back of my mind to know what being a father feels like.

MGTOW gives a clean wipe to that and allows us to re-program ourselves in a way we deem fit. Those who had a semblance of life can manage to do that; those who had their entire lives validated by women till now will find it too difficult to stay motivated for routine tasks.

Marriage originally men you were ENTITLED to sex with the woman, would OWN your own children, ie they could not be taken from you, and if the woman wanted to divorce it meant she left you, the house, the children and your money behind.

THAT kind of marriage was worth finding the right woman and going down on one knee for.

Today NONE of that applies, only the man's (new) obligations to provide her with the house, money and ongoing income, especially if she's stolen his kids.

That kind of marriage is suicidal for the man.

Completely agree. That line, you're finally free. We got away unscathed. Nearly every day I thank christ I didnt go through with that marriage, or knock any of the girls up (and I was not a careful person). GYOW without catching a nasty STD like Herpes, HIV, kids..etc. or not getting divorce-raped is like winning the dam lottery. Why on earth would we even want to go back to being providers? Is your life really that much less meaningful now that you've realized you can't have a family?

because nothing really matters, at the end you'll end up alone if you don't have your own family lineage,

free but you've got nothing to do, yes you got hobby here and there then what? all this money is just a waste, you give it to none and you have no means to collect it from you, it comes back to nihilism, you only fulfil your lust, desire and things "healthy" you can do while missing the connection for other people.

The reason people like a family and want it because it does enrich your life, it connected you with someone that will share their life and make your life their own, make you valuable beyond a friend can do, it's about the connection with someone that truly yours.

We all need a companion but the truth is no one stay with us till the end of our life, a family once provided that. Why, because everyone is selfish, they can't be available to you whenever you want, your family was always there because your life is them and theirs is yours, a family was meant to fulfil the loneliness and form a connection while simultaneously providing society with another generation.

Human are a social animal, just because you are "free" doesn't mean that you had the best life, you just have the less headache life than the one who isn't. The standard of being happy is less than what it should to be. It once called happiness when you can build a life with people that trust you, adore you, proud of you the same way you feel about them.

The older you get, the more everything doesn't matter and when it comes to you that nothing matter anymore, got no other life to cherish, got no other people to talk that stay and you don't have to tell them from the start of your life, the more everything is just a loneliness. Hobby does make us feel good but it doesn't give the complete the feeling of connection. We can't get along with everyone, finding a close friend is such a hard task that not everyone has them, friend forever was a family. How many same people are still a friend after a long period of years? How many same people will make a bond since you are a child and stay, how many same people will tolerate you and will come back to help you when you are lost, how many same people will stay with you.

Have you ever see how a grumpy looking grandfather look brighten when their grandchild comes? It makes life less boring, when you remove family, life is boring, you just eat to live and occasionally travel, it's short-lived and less fulfilling, albeit better than have a hard complicated miserable life.

With mgtow, yes you are better than those guys who get manipulated but you also not feeling better than someone that has a good family. If you see a good loving family, you know why it was desired. Now people don't even know what a good family offered them or how it feels to be inside one. Imagined a repetition of a task without anyone ever talked with you, how suffocated it is. Now we have the middle ground with the internet, accessible friend that we can meet easily with all the technology but it was never on par with what a family was meant to be, people that will take a day off because of you, repeatedly, and not because what you gonna do together.

I would love to slave away for a woman who actually appreciates the hard work I do on a day to day basis, fully realizes how much harder I work for her, loves me for who I am, and does everything in her power to take care of me while completely appreciating how much more I'm making her life easier. I'd give up some of my major hobbies for her so that we can instead make a family.

The MGTOW part was realizing that the only parts of that which can't come true (even historically) are the parts where she loves, appreciates, and respects the things I do. She'll still expect me to sacrifice everything I already talked about but will twist and squirm to spin lies about how she does all the other things when she won't:

She won't love me. Maybe be infatuated with me, or settle on me, but never, ever, ever wanting to sacrifice anywhere near as much as I would.
She won't appreciate me. Temporarily be wooed by the things I do for her, maybe, but always eventually they'll just be baseline expectations and she'll be wondering why I'm not doing anything.
She won't respect me. Again, those momentary honeymoon feelings will drive her to try, but she'll inevitably fall back into the female herd and fling monkey shit at men.

So, I go through life with a critical eye looking for evidence of a unicorn because I want to at least keep an open mind to the possibility that I'm wrong. However, I'm not looking and I'm not expecting to find one. If anything I've been finding that women have been pretty disgusting parasites all along, or maybe just scorpions, and I just can't find anything redeeming about them. I can't even be sure I've found any exceptions, only slightly more self-aware ones that have realized that they took things too far and awoke too many men.
