It's been a year now since I began my celibacy. It is truly peaceful. When the desire arises, I satisfy it myself and then go about my day. Since going celibate, I was able to remove so many distractions from my daily life. Some might call it selfish or giving up. Perhaps, I guess it depends on your perspective. But for me, it's peace and security from the unpredictable realm of carnal desire.
