The type of activities a man participates in doesn't define whether or not he is MGTOW. The qualifier being, providing these activities do not allow a woman to get a free ride. The free ride being, the woman makes an implied contract that if the male does something which benefits her, at some future time he will get sex from the woman.

A guy picks up chicks regularly from tinder, he then proceeds to pump and dump them. Is the guy MGTOW? This depends on his internal frame. The incels of MGTOW will say something like, he is getting validation from women. They are probably doing self projection. The only person who can really know is the guy picking up the chicks. If he is allowing the women to influence his activities, then he is not MGTOW.

Both TRP and MGTOW have illusions of Chad/Tyrone. On TRP they want to become Chad/Tyrone. On MGTOW, the theme might be, while I was paying for my exWife to go to school, she was banging Chad/Tyrone on the side. In both cases, there is the belief that Chad/Tyrone has magical abilities. The common theme is, Chad/Tyrone doesn't allow the woman to get a free ride.

You could have two activities, frozen waterfall climbing and picking up chicks. Both are dangerous activities if proper precautions are not taken. In both cases, if the guy is getting internal validation from climbing frozen waterfalls or picking up chicks, it means that he lacks internal character. Lack of internal character means that outside events define his internal frame. That means if you took away either of the two activities from the guy he would be less of a person.

Simply put, women for the most part get self value from external validation. While a man gets self value from internal validation. If you require external validation, probably your life requires examination.
